On the afternoon of August 24, the 2022 China International Carbon Trading Conference Carbon Neutrality Action Alliance Technology Assisted by Technology "Dual Carbon" Cloud Forum was successfully held. Deng Jihai, Executive President of the International Green Economy Association, attended the meeting and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Shanghai Environmental Exchange.

After exchanges and talks, the two sides reached a consensus that they will take this forum as an opportunity to carry out strategic cooperation around the goal of "dual carbon" powered by science and technology, jointly carry out business cooperation in six aspects, including carbon market ecological cooperation circle, carbon-related business and services, training and consultation, research and capacity building, forum activities, and green finance, and establish a long-term cooperation mechanism to better implement the national policy guidelines on carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, and jointly promote the implementation of "dual carbon" and the development of green economy.

The forum was hosted by the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange Carbon Neutrality Action Alliance and held online. Zhao Penggao, Deputy Director General of the Department of Environment and Resources of the National Development and Reform Commission, and Zhou Qiang, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, attended the meeting online and delivered speeches. At the same time, experts from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Tencent, Envision Technology, Microsoft, Siemens Energy, Three Gorges Group, Shenergy Carbon Technology and other experts and executives of multinational technology companies delivered keynote speeches, and leaders of Green Technology Bank, Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group, Wanxiang Blockchain, Cathay Biotechnology, Geely Holding Group, Shanghai Junzheng and other enterprises held roundtable discussions on how to better help enterprises "dual carbon" practice in technological development. The conference pointed out the direction for enterprises to help green transformation with scientific and technological innovation.
