On the morning of March 9, 2023, the high-quality development conference and major project signing activity of Huizhou Daily was held in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province. The conference focused on the theme of high-quality development, and the International Green Economy Association reached a cooperation intention and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huizhou Daily. Leaders of the Publicity Department of the Huizhou Municipal Party Committee of Guangdong Province, the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, the Municipal Federation of Social Sciences, the Municipal Federation of Literature and Culture, members of the leadership team and cadres of Huizhou Daily, as well as well-known experts, representatives of listed companies and enterprises, representatives of relevant institutions and other personnel attended the meeting, Zhu Lili, Secretary-General of the International Green Economy Association, and Li Lu, Deputy Secretary-General of the International Green Economy Association, attended the meeting and signed the contract on behalf of the Green Association.

The International Green Economy Association and Huizhou Daily will carry out comprehensive strategic cooperation on the establishment of the Dongjiang Dual Carbon and Green Development Research Institute, Huizhou Dual Carbon Service Center, major brand activities, research on dual carbon topics, national policy pilots, and digital economy science and technology industry alliances.

The launch of this cooperation indicates that the International Green Economy Association will start relevant cooperation in the Pearl River Delta region from Huizhou in the next work. The Green Association will also give full play to its platform resource advantages, actively promote the construction of green industry cluster demonstration bases in the Greater Bay Area in terms of green development and carbon peak and carbon neutrality capacity building in government parks and enterprises, and promote the high-quality development of green industries in Huizhou. The Green Association will also set up a delegation of green dual-carbon industrial clusters to carry out in-depth research and inspection cooperation in Huizhou City.
