On the 23^rd of May 2025, IGEA Executive Chairman Deng Jihai was invited by H.E. Ambassador Bruno Angelet to visit the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium and meet with the Ambassador and Willem Baron van de Voorde, the Special Envoy for Climate and Environment at the Belgian Foreign Ministry.

Both sides have talked to each other on topics such as climate change, green trade, the EU’s and China’s carbon market. They will make friendly plans for carrying on the dialogue and cooperation of pertinent areas in the future.
