At the invitation of Jihai Deng Executive Chairman of IGEA, the Executive Secretary of UN Science-Policy-Business Forum on the Environment Ms. Shereen Zorba visited IGEA and spoke with Chairman Deng on September 28th, 2025.

They have made exchanges on their work plans of the coming UNFCCC COP 30, discussed ways to amplify the impact of China and the emerging market countries at UNFCCC COP conferences. They have also talked about the prospect of the climate of the UN System and the climate conference of the humanity in the future. 

Secretary Shereen Zorba has suggested that she is very eager to have cooperation with the government, companies and organizations in the countries like China that deliver real impact in sustainability. She also looks forward that IGEA becomes a strategic partner of SPBF for inviting more radiant Chinese companies with excellent performance in their fields of endeavour to the international stage of the UN to voice their stories of green low-carbon development.
